The Golden State Warriors may have fallen??to the San Antonio Spurs, but Stephen Curry is not??concerned.

The star point guard and reigning NBA MVP??was limited??to 14 points on four-for-18 shooting, including one??for??12 from behind the three-point line, in Saturday's loss at San Antonio.

Golden State shot just under 38 per cent from the floor as a team, but Curry took responsibility for his lacklustre performance and is not??worried about the defeat.

"There is no panic at all," he said. "We'll be fine. It's a good learning experience.

"I didn???t allow us to get comfortable offensively.??They made some adjustments from the first game, and I like where we???re at."

With the loss, the Warriors (62-7) can lose only two more games??if they??intend??to beat the 1995-96 Chicago??Bulls' record of 72-10. It also marked the 33rd??straight time Golden State??lost in San Antonio.

Nonetheless, coach Steve Kerr was pleased with the Warriors'??performance.

"I couldn't be prouder of our guys," Kerr said. "What an effort. Incredible. All the odds were stacked against us. [Our] ninth game in 14 days.

"We hung in there right until the end. So it wasn't our night. The Spurs played great, they deserved to win. But I'm really, really proud of the way we fought tonight. It was awesome."

The Spurs got their revenge after??the Warriors destroyed San Antonio in January, but??a possible play-off clash down the road could bring another tough and??intense matchup between the two.
