Paul Dogbe, the father of WBO International Super Bantam Weight Champion says his son hasn't impress him enough to merit a world title fight.

Isaac Dogbe's father has turned down an offer  from the World Boxing Organisation for his son to fight for World title.

Dogbe knocked out Julian Aristule in the 7th round over the weekend to win WBO International Super Bantam Weight title.

But his father Paul Dogbe believes his son is not ready for a world title fight for the time being.

‘’He did a great Job, beating Aristule but I was not impressed,’‘’he told Joy FM.

"The WBO asked me if we are ready for the World title shot and I said No because he has to impress me before i sanction a title bout’’

‘’Four years now Dogbe has been fighting Feather weight since he’s moved weight we have to make sure he is very comfortable’’
