Ghana international buries mother on Saturday

The former Black Sars defender will bury his mother Abena Ateah on Saturday in Kumasi

Madam Ateah passed away in February, 2017 after suffering a short illness in Kumasi. Three days have been set aside for the funeral ceremony starting with wake-keeping on Friday, which will be followed by the burial and the actual funeral ceremony.

Samuel Osei Kuffour is quoted to have credited his mother Gloria Abena Ateah of selling her television among other things  to help push him through his football career.
