World number six Adam Scott is happy with his form as he looks to end the season with a win at the Tour Championship.

The Australian sits third in the FedEx Cup standings heading into the season-ending event starting Thursday.

Scott has two wins this year, while he has finished fourth at his past three events – performances which have him upbeat.

"I'm coming here with some nice form in the last three weeks," he said.

"It would be nice to finish off with a win here. It's been a really great year for me playing wise, starting out in the spring really well and taking advantage of that good play.

"I haven't done that since the spring. Not only to win the Tour Championship and the FedEx Cup, just that personal kind of satisfaction finishing off the year the best I possibly can and going into next year even more optimistic."

Scott, the 2006 champion at East Lake Golf Club, is confident he can contend once more in Atlanta, Georgia.

"I think this week the weather is looking really good, the weather is staying dry, the rough is long," he said.

"It's significant enough to be very hard to control it coming onto the greens. Without rain that will get tougher and tougher.
