Matteo Manassero and Jose-Filipe Lima will now compete at the Rio Olympics after it was confirmed there had been more withdrawals.

A number of high-profile golfers - including the top four ranked players Jason Day, Dustin Johnson, Jordan Spieth and Rory McIlroy - have pulled out of next month's competition due to fears surrounding the Zika virus and scheduling concerns.

The International Golf Federation on Tuesday confirmed that Italy's Francesco Molinari, Camilo Villegas of Colombia and the Philippines' Angelo Que had all pulled out.

Their places have been taken by Manassero, Lima and Rodolfo Cazaubon respectively.

Also included in the 60-strong list to take part are Henrik Stenson, fresh from his stunning victory at Royal Troon on Sunday to claim The Open, and Masters champion Danny Willett.

"I've been in since the start. I think it will be fantastic," said Willett at the Berenberg Gary Player Invitational.

"I think it's a difficult one where to put golf in as a category in terms of importance. I can see why people have chosen not to play. I think even with the Zika virus not around you would have still got a lot of guys withdrawing purely through schedule.

"I think Zika is a relatively simple way potentially of having an excuse. I think as long as you take the proper precautions, you should be okay. There are risks involved, people's opinions and decisions are their own.

"It is a shame but I don't think it should take anything away from what I think will be a fantastic Olympic Games. There is still a fantastic field going to Rio for the men's and women's. For all the negatives that are there, they will still get one of the strongest fields. Hopefully it goes really successful for both men and women in Rio and hopefully more can play in Tokyo [in 2020]."
