Dan Carter and Joe Rokocoko's management insists the former All Blacks have "nothing to worry about" despite suggestions of anomalies in drug tests from June.

Reports in France claimed the Racing 92 players had traces of corticosteroids in urine samples provided ahead of the Top 14 final.

Carter starred in that final at Camp Nou as Racing beat rivals Toulon 29-21, the fly-half named man of the match after scoring 15 points despite struggling with a calf injury ahead of the game.

The anomalies in Carter's sample have threatened the overshadow the New Zealand great's performance,  but his management company Essentially Group say both he and Rokocoko - who had a knee problem - had Therapeutic Use Exemptions (TUEs) which explain the sample results.

"We have been aware of the issue for a few weeks," Simon Porter from Essentially Group told the New Zealand Herald.

"Our understanding and assurances we've had are all the documents around TUEs were in place."

Porter went on to tell TVNZ that they had no concerns about the reports, adding: "We were reassured that there was nothing to worry about, that there was no wrongdoing, that there was no case to answer for.

"It's just a therapeutic use, cortisone is a common drug used to treat pain and inflammation.

"The boys had been told that they had nothing to worry about. They're not enjoying the attention but they're pretty relaxed about it all because they're confident that everything is in order and everything is fine."
