President Akufo-Addo graces Freedom Fight Night at Bukom Boxing Arena

The President of the Republic has made appearance at the Freedom Fight Night at the Bukom Boxing on Saturday.

President Nana Addo-Dankwa Akufo Addo is among the well-meaning people in the country that have trooped to the Bukom Boxing Arena to watch three different bouts to mark Ghanas 60th anniversary in 2017.

The 60th independence anniversary boxing bouts scheduled for the Bukom Boxing Arena in Accra are expected to thrill fans.

The bouts are under Streetwise Promotions in collaboration with Errol hawk Sports Management and supported by the Ghana, 60 Years On secretariat.

IBF lightweight contender Richard ‘Azonto’ Commey is billed to take on Belgian Hedi Slimani in a WBC Silver bout in his specialist division.

Frederick ‘Okunka’ Lawson, who is now based in the United States of America, will also take on Jamaican Sakima Mullings in the welterweight division while Duke ‘The Baby Face Terminator’ Micah faces Jonathan Aguilar from Mexico in the bantamweight division.

There will be five undercard fights before the three world title bouts.
