Kumasi Asante's  winless streak was extended at the Accra Sports Stadium after they lost 2-0 to Great Olympics but the repercussions could be greater after reports that the Executive Chairman of the club, Dr.Kwame Kyei walked out of the stadium before the end of the game.

There has been growing pressure on the management of the club from fans after a run of  seven league games without a win and the pressure seems to be getting to the management after Dr.Kyei was seen departing the VVIP area of the stadium and headed for the exit after his expensively assembled squad conceded a second goal from Francis Atsu.

Dr.Kyei recently  demanded for more from his under performing squad during a visit to their training grounds.

'You are not playing as you are supposed to do. You know it! I watched your matches. I know what I am talking about. It's about time you took your profession seriously. We don't condone these poor performances any longer.

"You've to know that this is your means of livelihood. You have to be serious with it; play well as an individual and as a team.

"You should be committed to your profession, not to anyone outside".

From his quick departure on Saturday, he might have just had enough.
