Is Hull the new city for Asamoah Gyan?

English Premier League side Hull City have shown interest in signing Black Stars captain and Shanghai SIPG player Asamoah Gyan.

Gyan who previously played for Sunderland in the English Premier League joined his current club, Shanghai SIPG from Arabian Gulf League club Al Ain.

The player however has been troubled with fitness problems and injuries during his time in China and despite having produced some brilliant moments for Shanghai SIPG, his time seems to have run out.

Shanghai SIPG have also added Hulk to their forward lines and considering the huge sum paid for the Brazil international and his wages at the club, a departure for Gyan seem to be the only way.

Africa’s top scorer at FIFA World Cup tournament is not short of options with respect to his eventual destination.

Gyan has previously been linked with Fenebahce, Samuel Inkoom’s club Antalyaspor and recently Besiktas as he looks for a new club.

Hull City got promoted for a return to the English Premier League. The club are looking to boost their attacking options and want the experience of Asamoah Gyan.

Asamoah Gyan’s weekly wages could however be a problem for Hull City who must dig deep to get close to what the Ghana international is receiving at Chinese Super League club Shanghai SIPG.
