Kotoko arrive in Accra by air for Hearts clash

The Porcupine Warriors arrived in Accra on Wednesday night, after beating Wa All Stars in Kumasi ahead of their President’s Cup game against Hearts of Oak.

The contingent comprises 20 players and five technical officials including interim head coach, Michael Osei and his assistant, Godwin Ablordey. The squad left the Kumasi Airport at 8:25pm   barely three hours after beating Wa All Stars 1-0 on match day 17 of the 2015/16 Premier League.

The contingent was given a warm reception from some people in and around the arrival hall of the airport they boarded the team bus which left Kumasi earlier in the day. Also on the trip to Accra are Kotoko Express and Asantekotokosc.com’s reporters and medical officers of the team.

The Porcupines are expected to camp in the mountainous area of the Eastern Region to put final touches on their preparation for the match which is to honour H. E. President John Dramani Mahama on Republic Day, July 1, 2016.
