Cameroon legend wins €100 000 bet against Antalyspor fan

Ivorian teenager Jean Drole netted a brace in only his second appearance of the campaign, whilst Eto'o and Zeki Yildirim completed the rout, Serkan Bakan scored the consolation goal for the Falcons.

For his first, Drole raced on to a Jean Makoun through ball, skipped past a few challenges before firing into an empty net to open the scoring 20 minutes into the game. Drole then connected with Skibb Aytac's cross from the left at the far post to complete his brace in the second half.

Sandro then played Eto'o through in the 71st minute and the 36-year-old coolly slotted past the goalkeeper for his 18th of the campaign.

Having ensured that Akrepler finishes inside the top ten, Eto'o kept the cheque he had promised a supporter at the start of the season.

Back in October 2016, Antalyaspor's horrific start to their campaign, managing only three points in their first seven games of the season raised a few concerns from the clubs hopefuls and subsequently called Eto'o to the stands after one match to talk about the situation.

It was there where the former Barcelona and Inter Milan attacker promised to pay the concerned fan 100 000 Euros from his own pocket should the club fail to overcome their early struggles, a bet he now he's now won.
