'I was sabotaged by Hearts technical team', says Ex-Hearts coach

In an exclusive interview with Sports XTRA on Viasat 1, Traguil said he was sabotaged by his backroom staff, leading to his demotion at the club.

Sergio Traguil has revealed that his backroom staff polluted the players against him, all in a bid to sabotage his efforts for Hearts of Oak's senior team.

The Portuguese trainer was reassigned to the club's youth team after a poor run with the seniors after failing to guide the club to win this season’s Ghana Premier League.

“Yes I was sabotaged by my technical crew, I remember after our President Cup game against Kotoko I saw some of the technical team laughing with the people of Kotoko and I was wondering,” Traguil said.

“Even apart from that there were many things that went on behind me.”

Assistant coach Yaw Preko was handed the role in an interim capacity pending the appointment of a substantive trainer with just three games to end the season.
