Afriyie Acquah was shown a red card in Torino's 1-1 draw at Juventus in the Derby della Mole on Saturday night.

Torinio were reduced to 10 men in the 57th minute as the Ghanaian international got his second-yellow card of the game and was sent off.

Afriyie Acquah was sent off for two yellow cards – both of them extremely controversial - with television replay later revealing Acquah had the ball and did not go in for Mario Mandzukic.

Compatriot Kwadwo Asamoah played the entire duration for Juventus who needed Gonzalo Higuain's late leveller to avoid defeat.

A magnificent Adem Ljajic free kick was wiped out by Gonzalo Higuain in stoppages after a controversial red card, but Torino still ended the Juventus Serie A home win record.
