Black Stars player is one for the future - Avram Grant

The Atletico Madrid star played a debut for the Black Stars in their Afcon qualifier against Mauritius.

Black Stars coach Avram Grant has stressed that Atletico Madrid star man Thomas Teye Partey is a player for the future.

Partey blossom display for the Spanish giants in the 2015/16 season earned him his debut call-up to the Black Stars together with two other players.

The 22 year-old box to box midfielder on Sunday made his Black Stars debut in the second half when he came on for Frank Acheampong in Black Stars' 2-0 win over Mauritius in Port Louis in 2017 AFCON qualifier.

“We saw him during training, we have followed him for a long time.
