Daniel Agyei joins Tanzania giants Simba FC

The former Liberty Professionals shot stopper arrived in Tanzania on Tuesday to begin his new adventure with the Der es Salaam based club.

Agyei before his latest move had a short stint with Medeama but his contract ended at the end of the 2015/16 Ghana Premier League. The goalkeeper played a major role in Medeama’s CAF Confederation Cup campaign.

“I feel good about it and they are friendly too, I haven’t met the players and also the coaches too,” Agyei is quoted by Soka25east.

The 24-year old goalie intimated that he joined Simba FC to win trophies.

“I am here to win trophies and also play Africa Champions league. I know the fans I have seen here know what I can do for the club, I will give my best for the team,” he added.

Agyei was part of Ghana’s U-20 team that took the world by storm by winning the 2009 World Youth Championship which was held in Egypt.
