John Boye rose to the occasion to score the match winner for  Sivasspor as they edged Goztepe 3-2 in the Turkish Cup on Tuesday evening.

The game was tied at 2-2 and it looked like it was heading to a draw, but John Boye emerged as the hero of the day when he fetched his side the goal gave them their first victory in group F of the cup competition in the 89th minute.

Sivasspor who are competing in the second tier of the Turkish league are seeking to get promotion back to the topflight.
