A big church service has been held in Kumasi to celebrate the 2017 President's Cup triumph of Asante Kotoko and Pulse.com.gh has the video below to show.

The Porcupine Warriors won the annual Republic Day Cup for a record fifth time after beating rivals Hearts of Oak 4-1 on penalties on Monday.

The two teams had to play the encounter again on Monday after it was rained off on Sunday with the game tied at 1-1.

However, the new start did not bring the goals the first match had delivered.

The Penalty shoot out was next with Hearts of Oak most dependable takers Vincent Atinga and Robin Gnagne all missing their kicks.

The next few kicks where just academic exercises with Hearts of Oak stepping up to finish to win the president cup.

And on Thursday, the entire contingent of the team, including Executive Chairman of the club, Dr Kwame Kyei, coach Steve Pollack, players, management and technical team staged a church service in Kumasi to thank God for their title triumph.
