The large crowd at the event backed the call by the musician to indicate they have missed the former AC Milan midfielder after three years absence.

The 32-year-old midfielder is yet to invited to the Black Stars after he was thrown out of the team's camp during the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil for indiscipline.

Muntari, who played for the Black Stars in three different FIFA World Cups - 2006, 2010 and 2014 - later apologised to the nation for his behaviour, but whether he rejoins the team or not is up to the new coach Kwesi Appiah

It was during Appiah's first stint in charge of Ghana when Muntari was suspended from the Black Stars for assaulting a management member of the team named Moses Armah.
