Hooliganism galore as Bolga All Stars fans heckle referee in Tamale

Fans of debutants, Bolga All Stars heckled match officials, as their idol club held Asante Kotoko to a one all draw.

Debutants, Bolga All Stars, have relocated their home grounds from Bolga to Tamale as part of measures to meet pitch requirements of the Club Licensing Board.

The home game against Asante Kotoko was marred by crowd violence as both Ghana Premier League teams shared the spoils.

Mohammed Yakubu broke the deadlock in the game with Noah Nii Quaye restoring parity for Bolga All Stars to give the hosts an important one point against one of the favourite contenders for this season's league.

Home fans who were not pleased with the officiating in the game attacked the centre referee Otis Oppong and his assistants

Policemen in charge of safety and security at the venue had to come to the rescue of the match officials to scatter aggrieved fans.
