Yaw Yeboah is happy about his first goal of the season and wants to score more.
Yeboah scored his first goal of the season for the club ahead of the international break as he earned a Ghana Black Stars call up with Jeffrey Schlupp out injured.
The Ghanaian player expressed his joy in scoring the goal and said he hopes he scores more goals for FC Twente.
“Fantastic goal. Great feeling and I’m happy to score my first goal of the season and I hope to continue,” Yaw Yeboah said.
“It is great. For an attacker you need goals, you need assists and that is what I did. I thank God. “
On how he managed to score the long range, Yeboah said:
“I knew what the left back was going to do because I was reading the game. And I had to turn around and then I had the chance and met the ball and that was it.”
The Ghanaian player also said of his early days in the Dutch league claiming it is not easy but there is no pressure on him to prove anything. He also is elated about how the fans have accepted him at the club.
“It is not easy but there’s no pressure on me. I just have to do what I know, keep my focus and work hard and then show my talent. I will get great results.
“It is fantastic. I came and they received me really well. I scored and everyone is happy and I am happy to continue from there.”
Yaw Yeboah will set off to join the senior national team of Ghana for the international break as he enjoys his debut call-up into the Black Stars.
