This small humanoid robot is actually an overpriced phone

RoBoHoN will be available in Japan at the end of May. But to take advantage of its many functions, you should be willing to part with about GHC7000.

Sharp's new pint-size RoBoHoN phone is a robot that walks.

It must be noted however, that this robot is much more than a toy.

It is first of all a real mobile phone, with the capability to receive and make calls, provided you are afraid of public ridicule, but it can also read messages, has an inbuilt alarm clock and even a calendar.

For extras, the RoBoHon also has a projector as part of its' head', which can, for example, be used to display a map or a recipe, and is also capable of taking photos and videos.

It can serve as a voice recorder, responds to voice commands and has a face recognition function.

Sharp has also included a multitude of movements in the head as well as the arms and legs. This will give it a real human appearance, though miniature (less than 20 cm in height).

And of course, he can dance to the music.
