Maroon 5 singer shot with sugar in Hollywood

undefinedwas sugar bombed on his way into Jimmy Kimmel's studio in Hollywood yesterday, May 6.

The Maroon 5 lead singer stopped to meet-greet with fans outside the studio when some one in the crowd splashed his face with the 'white sweet' substance.

The singer and coach on 'The Voice', reportedly moved away from the crown and didn't look happy about the incident.

It remains unknown if the attacker was protesting against something or was just a prankster but he was apprehended by the security before been arrested by the police for battery.

Adam continued with his interview and didn't comment on the incident.

In April, he was attacked by an overly excited female fan during a Maroon 5 concert at the Honda Center in Anaheim.
