Trangender star receives warm welcome in New York

Caityln Jenner has made her first public appearance in New York as a woman.

The 65-year-old transgender star let her hair down during NYC's Pride event on Sunday, June 28 just moments after the annual Gay Pride Parade ended.

Caitlyn arrived in time for transgender actress Candis Cayne's performance in the company of a few friends while cameras filmed for her reality show, "I Am Cait.

Reports say the former Bruce Jenner danced and got a toast from Candis whold her audience she was honored to know Caitlyn.

Candis later dedicated the song, "Im Every Woman" to Caitlyn who cheered her on.
