Rapper protects Beyonce from paparazzi attack in New York

Jay Z is a man of peace and he demonstrated that when he pleaded with some excited photographers in Manhattan, NY to not hate on his wife.

Jay and Beyonce were walking out of a building when one of their long-time bodyguards took a swipe at a paparazzi to move him back.

According to a video obtained by TMZ, some back and forth yelling started, and Jay was forced to go humble for peace to reign.

Jay who was donning a black T-shirt with 'peace' inked on it began calming the paps down as his wife stylishly made her way into their ready-to-go car.
