Ghanaian midfielder, Michael Essien was given a huge welcome in Greece as he arrive the country to sign a two-year- deal wit Panathinaikos.

Essien just finished a stint with AC Milan and arrived Greece to sign with Panathinaikos.
The 32-year-old met a huge crowd when he arrived as fans were celebrating UEFA Champions League qualification.
Essien met and posed for photos with fans and took time to give interviews to the local media.
According to reports, Essien has been offered a two-year-deal worth €1million a year by the Athens based club.

Essien started his foreign club career with Bastia and Lyon in France before joining Chelsea.
He has since played for Real Madrid and AC Milan.
