Arsenal defender watches game 5 of NBA Finals

Arsenal defender Per Mertesacker who is in America for his post season break was at the stand to watch the game five of the NBA Finals.

An excited Mertersacker took to his Twitter account to share a photo of himself inside the Oracle Arena in Oakland watching as Steph Curry led Golden State Warriors to a 104-91 victory over LeBron James' Cleveland Cavaliers.

"Game 5 ... What a fantastisch experience at the #NBAFinals. Thanks @NBAUK @NBA ," the ex German International wrote on Twitter.

After a long season with Arsenal, the 30-year-old is having a long post season break afetr retering from International football last year.

In his absence from the German team, the World Champions lost 2-1 in Cologne to the USA in an international friendly before beating minnows Gibraltar 7-0 in a Euro 2016 qualifier.
