Pop singer shuts down Japan's airport

Sorry, who is as popular as Taylor Swift in Japan? Bet no one.

The pop singer arrived Narita Airport in Tokyo on May 3 amidst a mammoth of screaming fans who were either struggling to touch her, get an autograph or a photograph of the star.

According to TMZ, her arrival apparently forced the airport to delay other flights due to the massive crowd.

A source tells the site, at least 2 arrivals were delayed because of the congestion.

Swift is in Japan ahead of her '1989 World Tour' … and what an impact she created at their airport.

She later posted a photo of her engorged arrival writing below: ''A very low key arrival in Tokyo #1989WorldTour''.
