Akon’s brotherly message to Wizkid has caused confusion on social media.

The Nigerian act during his Afronation performance surprised the crowd by calling the Senegalese-American singer to join him perform at the concert held in Ghana. After their performance, Akon took to social media to share his experience with Wizkid on stage.

He posted a picture them together and captioned it “me and my Lil Bro @wizkidayo at AFRONATION Ghana”. Nigerian rapper, M.I, quickly called out the 46-year-old Konvict Boss for not using a befitting title to address the 29-year-old Nigerian singer.

His tweet has since sparked a debate on Twitter with most fans against his opinion. Some tweeps have pulled out old tweets in which Wizkid also addresses Akon as his big brother to counter his thought whilst some few others are also in support of M.I
