The first leg 5-1 win at the Cape Coast Stadium a fortnight ago aided the Black Stars to qualify to the next stage of the qualifiers.

The Burkinabes cruised into a 3-0 lead early on the game and looked like a side who could overturn the first leg defeat, but Ghana immediately got themselves back into the game with a consolation to give them a further mountain to climb.
With Burkina needing 3 more goals to edge out Ghana, Paa Kwesi Fabin, who was sacked from his technical area got his assistants to hold on to the scoreline to ensure they they caused no further havoc to boost their chances.
The national u-17 team conceded a fourth goal later on the game, but saw the game through to book a ticket to the next round.
