Ghanaian player vomits during Atletico Madrid training

Having spent last season on loan at Getafe last season, Mensah returned from his loan spell to his parent club in Madrid and joined the rest of the squad for their first training session in pre-season.

Bernard Mensah however could not complete the club’s training session on Thursday, ending his time on the pitch early by vomiting.

Deigo Simeone and 23 players from his Atletico Madrid side trained on Thursday with new recruits Santos Borre and Diogo Jota joining up with their new teammates.

The fitness training ahead of the new season was led by assistant coach ‘Profe’ Ortega.
