The victory of NPP is a historic necessity, Nana Addo says at a retreat for aspiring MPs and sitting MPS.

Nana Akufo Addo noted that NPP must capture power to put the 'nation back onto the path of a brighter future.'

The presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party has told party MPs at a retreat in Koforidua in the Eastern Region to work hard and salvage the country from NDCs toxic mixture of incompetence and corruption.

'We need to bring back competence, a strong decisive and compassionate leadership.' Nana Addo said.

'The victory of the NPP later this year is a historic necessity,' he added.

Nana Addo also said the NPP need to 'restore hope ad confidence of Ghanaians.'

'If we can build the intellectual and technical capacity of the Ghanaian, offer efficient, honest public service and create a favourable environment for private enterprises to thrive, we will surely free up the Ghanaian to climb the ladder of prosperity and enhance the dignity of the Ghanaian people,' he noted.
