8 Dead In Tema-Dawhenya Road Accident

About 18 people have died whilst many sustained various degrees of injuries in a fatal accident that occurred on the Tema-Dawhenya highway in the early hours of today.

Two vehicles collided in front of a fuel station. The accident, which occurred at about 12pm, involved an STC van and an articulated truck.

According to an an eye witness, Augustine Kyereme who spoke to Adom FM, the accident was so severe that none of the passengers in the car survived but died instantly.

“Everybody died and I’m not sure they will survive. It was terrible” the eye witness said.

Police have rushed to the accident.
