Cristiano Ronaldo was voted the FIFA Player of the Year for the 5 time and these are the points he gained in percentage wise

Portugal and Real Madrid star was adjudged the FIFA Player of the Year for 2017 in London after an impressive year.

Ronaldo had chunk of the votes cast, with 43.16% went in his favour, while Lionel Messi gaining 19.25% and Neymar getting 6.97%.

The voters were influenced by the laurels the former Manchester United attacker helped Real Madrid to win in the year under review- UEFA Champions League, La Liga, UEFA Super Cup and Spanish Super Cup in addition to winning the top scorer of the Champions League.

Cristiano Ronaldo who won the award in 2008, 2013, 2014, 2016 and 2017 is now tied with longtime rival Lionel Messi as the most successful players in history of the FIFA Player of the Year.
