Aduana Stars were held to a pulsating 1-1 draw game by New Edubiase on match day 19 of the ongoing 2016
The home side who have been in fine form after Croatian tactician Aristica Cioba took charge of the team’s dug out after the departure of Nuru Ahmed earlier in the game unsettled the away side and Nathanial Asamoah registered the first goal for the Ogya lads.
The goal was Asamoah’s debut goal for the 2010/11 Ghana Premier League champions after joining them during the second window.
The Bekwai based club tried fighting back but they were pushed back as they were outplayed in the middle by the home side.
In the second half, New Edubiase improved their performance and they curtailed the wing play of Aduana Stars. In one of their few incursions James Boadu stunned the host by fetching the equalizer for the away side as they traveled back to Bekwai with a point.
