Bechem United inflicted another defeat to Asante Kotoko with a 1-0 victory on match day 28 of the 2017 Ghana Premier League on Sunday.
The only goal of the game came deep into stoppage time after Midfielder Sadiq Haji slotted home from close range to help the home side with a vital win over the Porcupine Warriors.
The two teams went all gun blazing in the first half as they created some decent chances but they fluffed their lines.
On many occasions, Ernest Adu in post for Bechem United and Kotoko’s goalie Felix Annan displayed some great piece of goalkeeping.
As many thought the game was heading for a goalless draw, Bechem United was awarded a free-kick after Amed Toure was fouled.
AKond the resulted free-kick was neatly connected home by Sadiq Haji.
