Berekum Chelsea criticise Referee Hanson for poor officiating

Yahaya Mohammed finished off from a second-half spot kick to give Aduana Stars a win in the Brong Ahafo derby against Berekum Chelsea on Saturday.

Nana Kwame has alleged that the controversial penalty which was all over the social media was orchestrated by Referee Maxwell Hanson in his quest to gift Aduana Stars the victory.

“He was the same referee who officiated the game we defeated Kotoko 0-3 last season. He mapped up a strategy to frustrate us, but he gave up after we scored 3.

“He doesn’t know how to officiate and that is the only reason that will make him award such a penalty.

“I don't need to report him to the Referees' Committee because it is on their forum and we have all watched it,” he told Happy FM.
