Traguil took over from the Japanese-American trainer, Kenichi Yatsuhashi, after the curtains had been drawn down on the first half of the league, a decision which was seen unpopular by most Hearts of Oak fans.

The Portuguese has won 1 and drawn 2 of the three league games in charge and lost the President’s Cup to Hearts of Oak’s bitterest rivals, Asante Kotoko.
The fans have begun to pour out their anger and it was evident, following their goalless draw against Aduana Stars in the weekend.
However, Sergio Traguil is optimistic to rediscover the form of Accra Hearts of Oak, but he sould be given time.
“Give me time, I will get there, and I tell you today I will win this league, I will win this league," he told Class FM.
Hearts of Oak last won the Ghana Premier League in the 2008-09 season.
