Patients who turned up at the hospital Monday morning were left stranded due to inadequate health personnel to attend to them.
The leadership of the Physician Assistants are currently in a crunch meeting after they received separate letters from the Labour Commission and the Fair Wages and Salaries Commission.
The Physicians are expected to announced either the continuation of the strike action or to discontinue it for negotiations to resume.
The University started implementing the Single Spine Salary Structure six years ago. However, the Physician Assistants say they were left out.
