Harrison Afful sent off for Crew SC after VAR review

Ghana defender Harrison Afful was shown a straight red in Columbus Crew's 1-1 draw at Orlando City FC in Major League Soccer on Saturday.

The 31-year-old was given the marching orders in the 77th minute mark for violent conduct.

The lateral defender was judged to have elbowed Yoshimar Yotun following a video review and issued a straight red card by the referee.

Afful, who made 17th league appearance for the Blood and Gold, was playing his second match after a recent injury.
