The actor apparently went into a bet with his neighbours over which team would emerge winner in the final of the 2018 World Cup final which was played on Sunday.

Van Vicker decided to put his money on Croatia, agreeing to sleep outside his home if the Croats fail to lift the trophy.

But unfortunately for him, France ended up winning 4-2 on the night, following goals Antione Griezmann, Paul Pogba and Kylian Mbappe.

The award-winning actor was, therefore, forced to spend the night outside his bedroom, as he promised he would do if he lost.

Van Vicker later took to Instagram to post a hilarious video of his “terrible” night spent outside his room after he lost the bet.

In the said video, the actor appeared to have made a small tent on one side of his compound, whiles managing to sleep.

Beneath the video he wrote: “I deserve what came to me. I threatened France supporters in my house would sleep outside in the rain tonight. Well France won, guess who is sleeping outside in the hammock? I pray it doesn't rain tonite. My son joins me soon, lol.”
