The duo, who have been out of the national team fold for some time now, decided to while away their time by acting to the lyrics of Captain Planet’s popular song titled ‘Obi agyi obi girl’ – which literally translates as “someone has snatched your girlfriend”.

In a video posted on Instagram, both players tried to act to the lyrics of the song, with Awal Mohammed sarcastically claiming the goalkeeper had snatched his girlfriend.

In response, Fatau Dauda also played along, acting defiant and insisting he is proud to have snatched the latter’s girlfriend.

Perhaps the pair can consider a career in acting after this episode, looking at the ease with which they acted those lines.

Fatau Dauda currently plies his trade with Nigeria giants Enyimba, whiles Awal Mohammed is with newly-crowned Ghana FA Cup champions Kotoko.
