The five-division world champion was in London for the final leg of the promotional tour ahead of his bout with the UFC star and he brought his best accessories to make McGregor feel as small as possible.

Nothing could do that more efficiently than a diamond-encrusted Hublot watch, one that the man himself claimed is worth $1.4million (£1.06m), and he took the first opportunity to flaunt it in front of his opponent.

Addressing McGregor in the makeshift ring during a frantic press conference, Mayweather said: 'You're a microwave meal with a cheap-a** watch on - step your game up.'

Pointing to his watch, Mayweather exclaimed: '$1.4million, b*****!'

The 40-year-old purchased the Hublot timepiece during a lavish spending spree in Dubai back in 2015 and has frequently been seen wearing it at some of the bigger PR events on his busy calendar.
