The annual ceremonial is put together by the Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) and sanctioned by the Ghana Football Association (GFA)

The Phobians have won the trophy back to back after beating Medeama and Asante Kotoko respectively.

The Kumasi giants will now have the opportunity to exact revenge on their nemesis but the Phobians will be aiming to maintain their superiority over Kotoko.

Both teams have agreed to play in the annual ceremonial match in honour of Ghana’s sitting President.
