A school built and commissioned under the late professor John Evans Atta Mills in 2011 appears to have been credited to president John Mahama under dramatic circumstances.

The plaque crediting former president Atta Mills was changed to create the impression the school was built in 2016 under the watch of president John Mahama.
The plaque change was posted on Facebook by one user named AK Oppong. It was also shared by FM journalist Manasseh Azure Awuni.
The change of plaque of the six-unit classroom block was criticised in the comments when Manasseh shared the pictures on his wall.
One user, Hanan-Confidence Abdul, wrote: "Wow! This is so shameful if it's true! This is the height of dishonesty and thievery! Oh no!"
