Mahama approves promotion for 12 prison officers

A statement issued in Accra by the Chief Public Relations Officer of the GPS, Vitalis Ayeh said Directors of prisons Emmanuel Adzator and Patrick Darko Missah, have been promoted to the position of Deputy Director General.

President John Dramani Mahama in consultation with Ghana Prisons Service Council, has approved the promotion of 12 superior officers of the Ghana Prisons Service (GPS) with effect from January 1, 2015.

The statement added that the following persons have been promoted to the rank of Director.

They are Mr. Sylvester K.B. Rabbles, Mrs Josephine Fredua Agyemang, Messers Alexander Kpeli and Leopold k. Amoah Ansah have been promoted to the rank of Director.

Meanwhile, assistant directors Ernest Asante Adofo, Robin Fenning, David Opuni Frimpong, Leonard Kwesi Dah, Matilda Opokua Oduro, and Ashly Henry Dasaah, have been made Deputy Directors.
