A nasty brawl nearly ensued at the Tema High Court on Monday morning after some persons who were convicted engaged in a fight.

This was after three of the convicted persons accused the others of leaking information that led to their conviction.

Appeals for them to stop fighting after they had left the court room did not hold.

It had to take a number of warning shots fired by a prison official in order to restore law and order at the Court.

All five convicts were later sent to Nsawam prison in the Eastern region.

Two of them are to start a 20-year jail term.
