Jordan Ayew scores his first Championship goal for Aston Villa

Ayew, 25 beat goalkeeper Adam Davies at the near with a powerful shot just after the hour mark.

The goal was the first Championship goal registered by the Ghanaian striker.

However, Sam Winnall in the late minute snatched the equaliser for the hosts.

Jordan Ayew lasted the entire 90 minutes of the game. His compatriots Albert Adomah was also in action for the Roberto di Mateo's side, but came off in the 87th minute.
