Oscar winning singer and actress, Jennifer Hudson, surprised grooms at Dallas' first same-sex weddings with a special performance during their ceremony at the W Dallas-Victory hotel in Texas.
As the grooms exchanged vows, they were greeted with a congratulatory video by Jennifer Hudson just before the curtains dropped and the songstress suddenly appeared performing her hit," I Still Love You", from her latest album, JHUD.
Hudson was there at the wedding of Scott and Chris Lindsey inside the W Dallas-Victory hotel as an ambassador for the Human Rights Campaign’s Turn It Up For Change campaign partnership with W Hotels Worldwide.
“I’m very connected to the gay community, and it’s something I’m passionate about,” Hudson told People Magazine, last year of the Turn It Up For Change campaign. “It only makes sense. This is my way of returning it.”
''I owe a large part of my success to the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community, who has embraced and supported me from early on in my career", Jennifer said.
And after the landmark Supreme Court ruling on June 25th that made same sex marriage legal in all 50 states, W began planning the surprise bash.
