41-yr-old fashion student found dead with throat, wrists slashed

Police have found the dead body of a 41-year-old fashion student at her luxury apartment at Battery Park City, New York.

Authorities say Sailor Tindall’s body was found on her blood soaked bed around 5:30pm on Saturday with her throat and wrists cut.

According to New York Post, a building employee who went to Tindall's sixth-floor apartment after a call from her parents made the discovery.

Police are suspecting Tindall committed suicide because there was no sign of a struggle with possible assailants or forced entry into the apartment.

No suicide note was found, but the city's medical examiner is working to identify her official cause of death.

Tindal was a student at the New York School of Interior Design.
