It has been a great week for Christie's auction house as it has sold $1.54 billion of fine art and collectibles within three days.

With nine auctions held so far this week, two of its auctions make up 90% of the great sales so far.

Kicking off the great week was undefined which sold for $179.4 million on Monday, becoming the most expensive painting to ever sell at auction.

With six more auctions scheduled for Thursday and Friday in London and New York, the week promises to be a better one.
